Kalleske

Hello Barry,

I happened to find this record which might be of great interest to you:

"Jgges. Johann Friedrich August Kalleske, Wirthschaftl.

Hello Willi,
Many thanks for this record. This particular Johann George Kalleske arrived in South Australia in 1838 and is of some historic interest since his family were part of the first group of "Old Lutherans" who left for South Australia. The Johann George Kalleske I seek appears to be from a different family (though possibly related). The point of origin (1856) given in the Brandenburg indexes is Langmeil which is in that general region. I am quite interested, however, in your source. Is this a published work?, compilation of records on FamilySearch?
Again,
Thankyou!
Barry Krueger

Kalleske

Guten Tag, Barry,

paying members can search the Evangelical Lutheran parish registers of Züllichau on Ancestry.

Unfortunately I only found one Kalleske entry, the one I informed you of.

Willi
