need address for getting birth marriage death certi from Rötz Bayern, Germany

    I need the address for the place where i can write to get birth, marriage and deaths from the area of Rötz, near Cham, Bayern, Germany.


    I need birth of Theodor Gmach 26 Jan 1856 and his father also Theodor Gmach 07 Mar 1821 also marriage to Anna Marier Kraus 26 May 1846 and her birth 03 Apr 1823.


    this maybe from the district office Waldmünchen rotz.


    also the church registry birth, marriages for the same area for all gmach from these dates back as far as they go.

    Rötz has its own civil registry office. You may find the contact details here:

    Unfortunately, they don't have an English home page.
    The German translation for civil registry office is Standesamt (list item 9).
    I don't know the situation in Bavaria, but I doubt they hold civil records older than 1871/72.
    Maybe just ask them, they can't do more than saying no.
    About the church records, it depends on the religious confession of your ancestors. In case they were roman-catholic, the church records are most probably held at the Bischöfliches Zentralarchiv in Regensburg (http://www.bistum-regensburg.de/borPage001455.asp).
