Family of Johann Altmann

I am in possession of the German Army Paybook of Johann Altmann, born April 15, 1906 in Cologne. He gave this to a British soldier who he saved from further injury in the battle of the Rhine Crossing on March 24, 1945. Does anyone know how I might trace Johann's family - if any survive, so that the paybook could be returned to them? Alternatively is there a military association that I might contact? Johann was a member of a 'Flak' unit defending the area of Hamminkel close to Wesel.
