ARMBRUSTs from Itzehoe & Blankenese ... also WENDEL

    ARMBRUST, Johann Matthias Anton b. about 1789. His mother WENDEL, Margarethe b. about 1767.
    Both show with DAMMANN, Hinrich and Dammann daughter in the 1803 Itzehoe, S-H Census as family # 315. Actual birthplace unknown but assume Itzehoe. I'm interested in finding ARMBRUST's father and etc.
    I also have several descendants in this line (right to present day) other than the one listed online which is ARMBRUST, Anna Catharina Margaretha. Other names associated with this line are : WITTMAACK, LAHANNS, TIEMANN, RIEGEN, JANSSEN, SCHLOH and more.

    Armbrust:


    Ferdinand Jürgen Friedrich Armbrust (geb. 1815 als Sohn des Bürgers Johann Matthias Anton Armbrust in Itzehoe), wurde 1842 in Blankenese sesshaft und heiratete Anna Margaretha, eine Tochter des Schusters Hans Hinrich Tiemann in Blankenese - Ein Sohn des Vorigen, Hinrich Armbruster starb als Lotse in Hamburg. In Blankenese leben heute (1935) noch je ein Kapitän, Lotse, Steuermann und Kellner des Namens.
