Carl Julius Bauer, Import/Export Company Düsseldorf

    Hi!
    I'm looking for information about Carl Julius Bauer. He was born in February 1871 in Wuppertal close to Düsseldorf.


    He had a 'import and export' company (Colonialwaarenhandlung?) at Lessingplatz in Düsseldorf. His wife Otilia Bauer, resumed the business after he died in 1920. She resumed it until about 1930.


    Where can I find out more about this company?
    Are there any lists or documentation of companies in Düsseldorf in the 1910/1920/1930's?

    im Stadtarchiv Düsseldorf sind für den gesuchten Zeitraum Einwohnerregister, und auch Firmenregister bis 1991 vorhanden. Diese sind in Mikrofiche - Form zur Benutzung durch die Besucher einsehbar. Weiterhin sind die Heiratsregister bis 1933 und die Sterberegister bis 1983 für jedermann an Bildschirmen einsehbar.
