Looking for records of Großherzogtum Hessen und bei Rhein, Deutschland - SPERB

    I am looking for any records for my g-g-grandfather Peter Sperb. I know he was born July 27, 1833 in Großherzogtum Hessen und bei Rhein, Deutschland. He immigrated to the United States aboard the Wild Wave and his immigation date is 11 Apr 1857 per "United States Germans to America Index, 1850-1897," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/KD7R-942 : accessed 27 January 2015) His parents were Jacob Sperb and Elizabeth Matten per "Indiana, Marriages, 1780-1992," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XFXW-G9N : accessed 06 Nov 2014)

    In my heritage is a Peter Sperb.born 27.7. 1833 in ESSELBORN Hessen- Darmstadt. Today it is Rheinland Pfalz.


    He was married 2 times : 1. Barbara 2. Christina D.A.
    Died in 13.6.1910 Lafayette /Ind.
