Francis Joseph "Frank" Lang (1825–1901) was born Sep 1825 in Baden, Germany and died 11 Apr 1901 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, USA. He emigrated to USA about 1840 and married Wilhelmina Unknown sometime prior to 1852 either in USA or Germany. Wilhelmina was born in 1835 somewhere in Germany and died 03 Jan 1867 in Columbus Franklin County, Ohio, USA. Frank and Wilhelmina had five children including Caroline Rose Lang (1852–1930), Joseph Henry Lang Sr (1854–1922), Frank Lang 1859–?), Henry Edward Lang (1863–1923), and Louisa Lang (1864–?) all of which were born in Columbus Franklin County, Ohio, USA. Wihelmina visited Germany in 1865 and returned to the USA on 14 Mar 1865 accompanied by Caroline and Louisa. Frank remarried Margaret "Maggie" Rief (1839–1905) in 1871 after Wilhelmina's death. An Ohio marriage record was found for Frank's second marriage but no record has been located for his first marriage to Wilhelmina either in the USA or Germany. Any assistance in identifying the Maiden Name of Wilhelmina, a marriage record for the two, or the names and location of their parents would be greatly appreciated.
