Add phonetic searches

Would it be possible to upgrade the GEDBAS search facility to include phonetic or fuzzy searches, please?
For example, a surname search on ‘könig’ does not show ‘koenig’, ‘konnig’ or ‘koennig’; at present each has to be searched separately. Similarly, a first name search on Margaretha does not show Margareta, Margretha or Margreta and a place name search on ‘hebsack’ does not show ‘hebsak’. In addition, a date range search would be useful.
