username first-cap?

    Why does this website require username to start with a capital letter?
    I use the the same username on many websites (always all lower case); this is the first one that imposed this requirement.

    I've never noticed that before, so I just checked the list of members.
    Many of the user names start with a capitel letter, but not all !


    For instance, since Dec. 1st. this year, there have been 14 new registrations and two of the user names don't start with caps.
    So I don't know, a general answer to this question.


    Have you tried editing your profile, to see if you can change it there ?
    Anybody else got any ideas ??
