I found a land measurement in old 19th Century documents of "Ruthen". For example "Ackerland dritter Klasse auf der Brücke von 45 Ruthen 10 Fuß . . ."
Does anyone know anything about this unit of measurement? How big is it?

How big it is depends on time and region. Also "Fuß" = foot is not the same at any time and region.
