Dear German friends
In the birth register of my great-great grandmother Elisabeth Sophie Struve , 1715 ,Glückstadt, I read that her father was Johann Friedrich Struve
"Wirkl. Königl. Dänischer Major der Kavallerie und Erbherr auf Mellen". I couldn´t find any mention of a Struve family related to a place named Mellen.
I found many places "Mellen" ,as
Mellen,Stadt Lenzen ,Landkreis Prignitz,Brandenburg
Mellen,Stadt Balve ,Norheim Westfalen
Mellensee,Teltow Fläming ,Brandenburg (formerly Mellen)
Should anyone help me to contact the Archivs of this regions or give any information?
