Hello all,
Looking in META SEARCH - last name ARMBRUST & place name ITZEHOE there are basically two families listed in the 1803 Census. One is family # 276 and the other is family 315 (my ancestor) showing Matthias, illegitimate son, age 14 (I do know who his mother WENDEL and step-father DAMMANN were listed in the 1803 census). I have a hunch that Marcus of Family 276, head of household, age 49 is probably Matthias' father.
I have tried to find out for sure several times online and e mailed the local parish but there seem to be no records that I can find.
Can anyone offer any suggestions or even a comment on my theory please ?
