Family of Derk Potgieter and Anna Bussemaker, Nordhorn, 1750-1823

I have a question about this family (they are my direct ancestors)
The Family sheet on OFB Nordhorn list this family at http://www.ortsfamilienbuecher.de/famrep…TGIETER&lang=de

There are two children listed both baptized/born on 8 Apr 1772

04.08.1772 Derk Potgieters Kint Harm Hindrik Stadt (http://www.ortsfamilienbuecher.de/famrep…TGIETER&lang=de)
Harmina, born 04.08.1772 in Oude Dorp (http://www.ortsfamilienbuecher.de/famrep…TGIETER&lang=de)

Considering that all other children of this couple were born in Stadt Nordhorn, are there other proofs for Harmina being a daughter of Derk and Anna? Was Harm Hindrik maybe a twin?

I tried emailing Jan-Hindrik Boerrigter through the Nordhorn databank, but the email bounced

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Dear Afina,
the information about the places is quite confusing in the kinship book. Therefore just my guess:
Oude dorp is Dutch literally translated means 'old village'.
Altendorf is German and literally translated also means 'old village'.
Altendorf is part of the city (Stadt) of Nordhorn, so this all seems to be the same place.
So Harm and Harmina seem to have been twins.

Cheers,
Rossi

Thanks, Rossi.
My only problem still is that according in the transcription at Harm Hendrik's page no twins were mentioned. Do you have Jan-Hindrik Boerrigters email, or someone else who is in charge of the Nordhorn page?

No, I don't have any other email adresses than the one on the page of the kinship book.
Maybe it's worth a try to contact one of the adresses listed on the homepage of the working group for family research for the Emsland:
http://www.genealogienetz.de/vereine/afel/
The page also hasn't been updated for three years, but maybe the addresses of the imprint (Impressum) are still active.
