I am trying to find out where the parents of Isaac Heymann (Auras, 26-3-1829) - Paul Heymann and Martha Gordon - were born and whether there is any information on this family in beginning of the 19th century.
Isaac Heymann was a famous chazan who came to Amsterdam to be the cantor of the large synagogue in that city. Isaac was married to Rebecca Goettinger.
At least two brothers of Isaac Heymann had different last names : Baumann and Jacobi. Is there anyone who can help? municipalities Wroclaw and Bialystok didn't have any information.
