    I believe he is related and may have at least one brother, named Herman (Hermann) Riepenkroger, my great-great grandfather. There is also a John Riepenkroger that resided in Leavenworth, KS in this time frame. I believe they are all brothers but can't tie them together. I'm also wondering if there are any records in Paderborn or any relatives still in Germany.
